Glasgow-born/Ibiza-influenced
MarcoLoco has been involved in the dance industry for over a decade.
Over the last 8 years, he has solidified himself as a true Ibiza resident.
Playing over 100 gigs every summer in a variety of the island’s coolest
hotspots. He has held a residency at his beloved club
Space Ibiza for the last 4 years,
showcasing all his different styles across the
superclub´s varied arenas.
This summer he has been playing to 3000 people on
The Sunset Terrace for ’Be’
on Fridays whilst playing his disco-funk
sessions in the Premier Etage
for ’Come Together’ on
Thursdays.
Marco is one of the most versatile djs in the industry today.
A true specialist in several different genres.
Chillout, Chilled-Beach House, Deep
House, Funk-Disco and
House-Techno.
His main club style is house
(anything from warm-up/deep/tech/funky
to peak-time house and
techno).
Known for his unique technical ability and subtle flair, he enjoys playing with
4 cdjs and a
djm 800/2000 turning dancefloors
into complete anarchy when the time is right.
Outside the clubs, he has an equally strong reputation for his
chilled, deep sets which he has
put to use over the last 6 years mainly at
Salinas beach and
Es Vive Hotel.
Starting with some mellow funky chillout
he progresses to a mix of chilled deep
house through to underground funk
and disco with everything in
between.
Marco has gained a massive following in Ibiza through his dj-ing and innovative
promoting.
He has been promoting weekly parties @
Hush, Savannah and Es Vive Hotel
under his well respected Ibiza Groove
brand.
Marco was also responsible for the infamous
Shipwrecked Boat Parties that
took the island by storm in 2006.
Every party was sold out to a religious following whilst the party won numerous
workers awards.
The party was unfortunately banned due to new government laws.
Over the last 8 years, Marco’s Ibiza DJ residencies have included:
Space, Manumission, Eden, Es Paradis,
Salinas Beach, Es Vive Hotel, Hush, Shipwrecked, Savannah and
Global Radio.
He has also had the pleasure of playing @:

Away from Ibiza, Marco has held residencies all over the world from Thailand
(full moon parties) to Dubai, the U.K and the U.S.
He is also involved in production. In 2007, he was responsible for the massive
remix of Heater which got
hammered by DJs all over Ibiza and the U.K. Last year, he had his first major
record signed to Jean Records
called "The Lighthouse Effect".
His first single “The Music n’ You”
was immediately signed to several chillout compilations.
He has made 5 new tracks in 2010 ranging from
chillout to
house. He plans to release his

Nacido en Glasgow, pero
influido por Ibiza, MarcoLoco está introducido desde hace más de diez
años en el mundo del Dance.
En los últimos 8 años, se ha consolidado en Ibiza como DJ residente.
Cada verano realiza más de 100 conciertos en los puntos más cool de la
isla. En los últimos 4 años ha sido DJ residente en su querido SPACE
IBIZA, mostrando sus diferentes estilos en los diversos escenarios de la
SUPERDISCOTECA.
Este verano ha actuado los viernes para 3000 personas para “BE” en la
SUNSET TERRACE, mientras que los jueves llevaba a cabo sus SESIONES DE
DISCO-FUNK en el PREMIER ETAGE para “COME TOGETHER”.
Marco es hoy uno de los djs más versátiles de la industria. Un verdadero
especialista en diversos géneros: CHILLOUT, CHILLED-BEACH HOUSE, DEEP
HOUSE, FUNK-DISCO y HOUSE-TECHNO.
Su estilo más importante es el HOUSE (desde WARM-UP/DEEP/TECH/FUNKY a
PEAK-TIME HOUSE y TECHNO).
Conocido por su capacidad técnica única y su estilo sutil, le gusta
actuar con 4 CDJS y un DJM 800/2000, con los que, cuando llega el
momento, lleva las pistas de baile a la anarquía total.
Fuera del mundo de las discotecas, tiene una reputación igualmente
fuerte por sus CHILLED, DEEP SETS, que ha utilizado los últimos 6 años,
principalmente en la PLAYA DE SES SALINES Y EN EL HOTEL ES VIVER.
Empezando con un poco de suave FUNKY CHILLOUT, va a una mix de CHILLED
DEEP HOUSE, UNDERGROUND FUNK y DISCO y en medio, de todo.
Marco se ha ganado una enorme cantidad de seguidores en Ibiza gracias a
su estilo como DJ y su novedosa promoción de partys.
Con su muy conocida marca IBIZA GROOVE ha sido el promotor de los partys
semanales de HUSH, de SAVANNAH y del HOTEL ES VIVER.
Marco también fue el responsable de los famosos SHIPWRECKED BOAT PARTYS
que tomaron tormentosamente la isla en 2006.
Todos los partys se vendieron totalmente a una devota hinchada y ganaron
numerosos “workers awards”.
Desgraciadamente, por nuevas ordenanzas del gobierno, este PARTY fue
prohibido.
En los últimos 8 años, las residencias de Marco como DJ en Ibiza han
sido: SPACE, MANUMISSION, EDEN, ES PARADIS, PLAYA DE SES SALINES, HOTEL
ES VIVER, HUSH, SHIPWRECKED, SAVANNAH y GLOBAL RADIO.
También ha tenido el placer de actuar en: CAFÉ DEL MAR, PRIVILEGE, EDEN,
UNDERGROUND, THE ZOO PROJECT, THE SHIT PARTY, CALA CONTA, LAS DALIAS, EL

Fuera de Ibiza, Marco ha efectuado residencias en todo el mundo, desde
Tailandia (FULL MOON partys) a Dubai, el Reino Unido y los EE.UU.
También está involucrado en la producción. En 2007, fue responsable del
multitudinario remix de HEATER que fue insistentemente repetido por los
DJs de todo Ibiza y el Reino Unido. El año pasado, tuvo su primera
grabación importante incorporada a los JEAN RECORDS: "THE LIGHT HOUSE
EFFECT". Su primer sencillo "THE MUSIC N’YOU" se incorporó de inmediato
a varias compilaciones chill-out.
En 2010 ha realizado cinco nuevas pistas que van del CHILLOUT al HOUSE.

de FUNKY CHILLOUT suau, a un mix de CHILLED DEEP HOUSE, UNDERGROUND FUNK
i DISCO i, en mig, de tot.
Marco s’ha guanyat una enorme quantitat de seguidors a Eivissa, gracies
al seu estil com a DJ i la seva innovadora promoció de parties.
Amb la seva molt coneguda marca IBIZA GROOVE ha estat el promotor dels
parties setmanals de HUSH, de SAVANNAH i de l’HOTEL ES VIVER.
Marco també va ser el responsable dels famosos SHIPWRECKED BOAT PARTIES,
que en el 2006, van prendre tempestuosament l’illa. Tots els parties es
van vendre totalment a devots seguidors i van guanyar diversos “workers
awards”.
Desgraciadament, per les noves regulacions del govern, aquest party va
ser prohibit.
En els últims 8 anys, les residencies com a DJ de’n Marco a Eivissa han

Fora de l’illa, Marco ha efectuat residencies per tot el mon, des de

Abseits von Ibiza, hat Marco Residenzen auf der ganzen Welt von Thailand
(Vollmond-Partys) nach Dubai, Großbritannien und den USA gehalten.
Er ist auch in der Produktion beteiligt.
Im Jahr 2007, war er verantwortlich für die
massive Remix von Heater, die von
aller DJs Ibiza und das Vereinigte Königreich
im vergangenen Jahr gehämmert wurde, und hatte er seinen ersten großen Plattenfirmen
unterschrieben Jean Records namens "The Lighthouse Effect". Seine erste Single
"The Music n ’You" wurde sofort in mehrere Chillout Compilations unterzeichnet.
